    Hi All,
When changing 14" wheels to 16" wheels on a 308gts will the spare fit in the spare tire well?

It really depends on tire selection, but probably NOT..they went to space savers spaers about that time.

I just put a spare 16" tire in there and fugure I can always find someone to mount it if the flat cannot be repaired.

So how about this? Take a can of tire inflator. Put a spacesaver tire in the wheel well just in case I get a blowout. My next question is can you use a 14" spacesaver tire when you have 16" tires on the car and if not is there a way to get a spacesaver 16" tire to fit the 308 and will that fit into the wheel well? I hope I didn't confuse you but I realize this must have come up.

Sorry, I posted my question on the "Reply" page. I will try again. 1985 308gts, I would like to know if this will work in case I get a blowout and I have 16" tires on my car. Do they make a spacesaver spare? If so, will it fit into the spare wheel well? I will carry a can of tire inflator for a flat but obviously that would do me no good with a blowout. In case this doesn't work is it possible to limp home(if not too far), with a 14" spacesaver?

I agree the thing to do would be to buy a 16" space saver spare at the same time as you change the road wheels.....

There was one for sale here on FerrariAds I thought....

I'm always a buyer, for the old 14" rims.......
