    A few years back everyone was "Mad as Hell" regarding pop-up ads which, ultimately, spawned a mini industry for combating these things. However, no one seems to be concerned about the current pop-up technology e.g. flash pop-ups and overlays. Most of them require some kind of interactivity from the user and many will reappear if you inadvertently mouse-over the ad space.

    Have they beaten us down to where we just accept and live with it? Please don't offer Firefox as a solution because, frankly, that blows as well. ;)

    Any other solutions?

    Thanks, but IE's pop-up blocks Windows not Flash. According to them...

    I tried Chrome when it first came out and hated it. But since they like me so much I guess it's only fair to give them another shot...
