I have wiring issues with both rear fogs and flash. Having cover off I can not find the location of item 91 the wiring bridge on fuse box. Can anyone advise please? Sent from my EML-L29 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
1980 GTB, RHD. Chassis 31829. The bridge seems to be on all the wiring diagerams I have looked at 1976, 1980 GTBi and my own manual.
Perversely I find that my 1980 (carb car) wiring seems to be very closely related to the 1982 QV in terms of wiring colours and components with the injection bits removed.
Actually, they were hooked up to the spare sidelight/parking light yellow/black wire. And it passed its mot like that. Sent from my EML-L29 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
You get your own beurocratic additions! I added that info so that if in x years time somebody does a search they will find a bit more info. It showed me that Euro and US shared wiring looms despite different legislative requirements. Sent from my EML-L29 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
My guess would be that they mangled the labeling in that additional OM schematic Fig 83 on page 109, and "91" is actually the same piece as 113 on the complete schematic. The terminal labeling (30, 85, 86...) indicates that it goes in a relay socket, and (if like other F models) is item 19 in this SPC figure (and the SPC drawing of item 19 shows that it is just a simple connecting bridge between terminal 30 and terminal 87 which agrees with both schematics): https://www.ricambiamerica.com/car-diagrams/ferrari/v6-v8/308-group/308gtbi-gtsi/fuses-and-relays.html One thing you could do is see if the wire colors in the terminals of that lower right relay socket where the SPC indicates that the item 19 bridges goes (or any other relay socket) matches what's shown in Fig 83 on page 109 where item "91(113)" is fitted -- just a thought...
Thanks Steve. That's a great suggestion to have on the thread. I actually have it all back together. I turned over the relay board and wrote down the colours and destinations of every wire. Strangely the two odd relays compared to diagram were for triggering a latch for either dip or main beam. I compared all to diagrams and eventually found where the flash wire went.
