Has anyone ever used this shop in Cumming? When I stopped by they had several Ferraris and other cars in for various work and restorations. In fact, they now have ex-FAF/FOA service manager Ron Reineke working there. Any info on your experience would be appreciated.

Frank, the shop is relatively new. They used to be Olde English Garage in Marietta, they out grew the shop in Marietta. Now they have the largest exotic and classic car facility in the country. They work on any type of car, and can offer indoor storage for a LOT of cars. Their paint guy is amazing. And yes they have Ron Reinke who is their lead techician. The facility is amazing to see. There is an Open house event there on June 12th. Everyone is invited to come see the new place.

I knew they were new, I was just wondering if anyone else had used them before? They are very convenient for me as they are only about 2 miles from my house.

I won one hour of labor from them for free at Italian Car Day. Anyone want to trade something for it? I don't need it and would like to see it go to some use. I also have one for Star motorsports. Not sure who they are.

The number up there is 770 781 8989. The address is
    2250 Pendley Rd
    Cumming, GA 30041.
Go 400 North to Exit 13, make a Left back over 400, to the 2nd light which is Hwy 9, make a right (see BP station on Right). Go till first light which is Pendley Rd, make a Right. You will travel back over 400 once again, 2nd building on the Right, behind the Hoover Precision building. Absolutely amazing shop, they have 6 Ferraris on the floor now, including a 365 Boxer, 94 348 Spider, a couple a 308s and others.

After having been to the Mitty Historic races on Saturday I went over to Flasback Motorworks to check out the facilities and to see if I wanted to take my Maserati there for some body work, and some engine overhauling. I have to say, I am very impressed. The facility is absolutely enormous and they had some very nice F-cars, mixed in with a good amount of British cars. I saw a Lancia Scorpion and a Lotus Europa in the same building!
The folks there are very personable and educated. They know there stuff, and they have the hardware to prove it.
I think what I liked best about it was that this place looks like it's for car enthusiasts that want their car worked on, and NOT a place where someone is trying to make another easy dollar off of a car enthusiast.

wanted to get a second opinion about some stuff FOA was telling me so I found these guys a few weeks ago by calling T Rutlands and asking who buys ferrari parts. ron seems to be really first class and really knows ferraris. had my 355 in there last week for minor stuff and I have nothing but complements. my 365 boxer is in their shop now.

I saw your Boxer and it looks great. By the way, did they have a different answer for you than FOA did ?

The place is huge and the restoration work I saw being done on a couple of old Jags was first rate. I have since let Mitch DeFrancis broker my 348 Spider out of their facility.
Very nice, knowledgable people and really focused on the car freak in all of us.

There is a rally from the Kurt's car show on Saturday to Flashback for refreshments and a tour of the facility. For those of you who have not seen this place, it is quite a sight. We could also move on up 400 into the mountains from Flashback, if anyone is interested?
