Have any of you subscrbed to one or both of these new magazines by Cavallino? FLAT-12 is supposed to cover cars with flat-12 engines from the Boxer to 512m along with F1 cars of that era. OTTO will cover all Ferrari badged cars with a V8 . I called in my order to FLAT-12 this morning.

I checked Cavallino's website and they make no mention of either of these.

yeah I subscribed to otto yesterday, should be cool, although a bit pricey for what appears to be a supplement in black and white. But what can I say, I'm a sucker for Ferrari.

It would have been nice to see a "sample" of the new magazines before paying for full year's subscription...What kind of articles will be included in those magazines anyway and who's writing them?? I'm only slightly interested in the 8-cylinder OTTO magazine but I'm skeptical on the usefulness of such magazine....We have more than enough Ferrari model information and history available in many sources on the Internet...What else, for example, can the new OTTO magazine tell us about the 348 that has not already been discussed at lenght in the FChat forums, Forza, Ferrari World and Cavallino magazines?? (just to name a few sources).

Maybe technical articles and DIY procedures might be usefull and most certainly welcome, but I rather wait and see before I spend money for a year subscription to yet another car magazine...I personally feel that Cavallino is overloaded with historical articles about Ferraris and their racing history and not enough technical information about the cars most of us drive (308, 328, 348, 355, TR, Boxer & 360)....While it's nice to read about a rare 250 Europa GT and it's history, I'm more interested in an article on how to change brake pads on a 348 and why my "check engine" light keeps flashing while I drive ;)

And one last thing - both new magazines will be printed in BLACK and WHITE only.....Boooooo - why no color in this day and age?? One of the things I love about Cavallino are those color photographs.....

goyal99, FYI, Cavallino has came out with the OTTO and FLAT-12 mags to provide owners of those type cars with the type of info Cavallino provides to older V12 cars.
