I've read pretty much every F1 book there is, just finished this Flat Out, Flat Broke 3rd Edition: The Original Stig: Perry McCarthy: 9780857333827: Amazon.com: Books Was really good. Details how damn tough it is to break into F1. Very entertaining book, personality as well. His determination was unbelievable. Ironically I saw him race in the IMSA class at Watkins Glen and didn't know it until now. Kevin
That's one I've always meant to get my hands on. I got to know him quite well when he first came over from the Emerald Isle and stayed in Silverstone where I was working - Usual 'bored kid/driver' looking for something to do & hangout. Cool kid, but I've gotta say, he was a ****ing lunatic! And I mean that in the nicest possible way..... Cheers, Ian
Flat Out Flat Broke is fantastic. Hilarious, fascinating, no doubt one of the best books on the sport out there
