So I was driving to the inspection place this morning with the running lights on and the dash lights started flickering. I could get it to do this when I touched the brake pedal engaging the brake lights.

Thoughts on where to start with this one?

It does not do this at a stop, just when moving so I'm thinking a lose + or - wire somewhere. It's also all the dash lights including main cluster and the center dash gauges. They all flicker in unison. Is there a decent wiring diagram for the GT? Anyone been under the dash. I assume there is a single power source, but is there a single ground or do the lights ground as the sockets?

Maybe the switch on the column?

    Thanks

I had an issue with dash lights on my 550 flickering while driving every once in a while. Turned out to be a bad connection in a connector to the fuse box. Found it by wiggling wires until I hit the right one and the dash lights flickered. Fixed the connection, never happened again.

You might also check the dimmer switch married to the hood release panel - that often goes bad and can cause the dash lights to flicker (did mine). An easy replace thru Ricambi.

It’s coupled with the hood release - there is a wheel switch to the right - see if when you play with it if the lights flicker. Can also remove it and check the connectors, ensure no corrosion. My switch simply went bad and ordered a new from Ricambi and fixed the issue.
