Aw HELL yeah! But LSU shouldn't have been ranked #3 in the nation. Gilleslee is awesome.

 

I lived in Gainesville from 2006-2011. I've seen all the recent players come and go, in person. Back in 2008 I said Mike was our best running back, but Coach Meyer couldn't get over the speed of Demps and Rainey. Well that only gets you so far. Mike is an NFL talented running back, unlike Jeff and Chris.

We played our best defense game in the past 1.5 years last night. Our offense was unimpressive but our defensive intensity kept us alive. It's hard enough to win in The Swamp, and with such a suspect quarterback as Mittenburger we had every right to win that game.

Great tuneup game at Vandy next week before another mega game in Jacksonville with Georgia. Work 'em silly, Gators!!!

 

Oh, hell yes! I wish my undergrad school would've had a football team. We had sailing, golf, rowing, and tennis. Go Tars!

lol, you're forgetting the South Carolina game after Vandy and before Georgia. By far the hardest game of the 3 match-ups.

I was there yesterday; we dominated the whole game even though it was a low score. I haven't heard the Swamp that loud in many years. South Carolina is a formidable opponent and I think that game will be a clash of titans with lots on the line. I'll be at that one too.....

 

I'm wishing that I had attended UF in college instead of USF. Our football team is all sorts of terrible. UF gives you a reason to have university spirit!

 

I can get you some. We needed one yesterday for my friend Casey. Got him a Row 1 ticket in the North End zone close to our seats, he was right behind the CBS cameraman there and ended up being on TV about 15 times.

We sit to his left, he was there by himself, so she was just a student or spectator. I'll ask if he got to know her. She was but one of many thousands of attractive women at the game! Fly on out Chas, I'll take care of you. Would be cool getting to know you while tailgating!

 

that's the second invite in 24 hours I've had to attend a Gators game/tailgate party....

We all got converted at some point. Do you follow college football? We play Mizzou Nov. 3, aren't you from Missouri?

 

yep, from Missouri, but not a huge fan of the team. I do love the SEC though and that's what I've always followed. nice to see Mizzou in the SEC, although they'll get pummeled for the next few years while their team gets rebuilt to SEC quality.

 

My boss is a Mizzou alum and he's probably concentrating on his St. Louis Cardinals right now, instead! When a team can't beat Vanderbilt on its home turf (though admittedly Vandy is far from the worst team in the SEC right now), you know that there is work to be done.

Frankly, I didn't expect the Gators to beat LSU. I wonder, though, if they can beat the Ole Ball Coach and his man Clowney.

 

Nothing like going to a UF game. Was at Gainesville over the weekend and looking forward to going back for South Carolina.

Looking to transfer up there in the summer next year. Too much fun.

 

Watch out for the Gamecocks.

One more game, Gators! But Aaron Murray lit up Kentucky for 430 yds. Hope our defense is just as good next week.

 

Go Gators!!!! Great win over the Noles. Never would have guessed finishing 11-1 after last year. We should be in the Sugar Bowl if not better depending on the ND - SC game tonight.

 

If Alabama beats Georgia (which I think they will), Bama will wax Notre Dame
