You will find the web address for SAFE and NASA (called Performance Drivers Club) on my website under track events. Cavallino 14 has their own website www.cavallino.com and is not affiliated with my company. (they are in biz longer under their name ) ItaliaFest has no website. Jim is a little behind. E-mail me and I can send you his phone number. It will be Sat track and Sun concourse in Delray Beach. The FCA Spring Spectacular will be on their website www.fcafloridaregion.com and some of the other events will have their own websites. Stay alert to the FL region F-Chat and you will pick up on those events. Festival of Speed and Cars for the Cure are not up and running yet but soon.
The date for the show is January 15. It is a 3 day event this year---for more details log on to www.focfloridaregion.com
The entire schedule for NASA, SAFE and Chin are now posted on the Scuderia South Florida website. http://home.comcast.net/~barton_workman/ssfinfo.html BHW
Which of these events offer the most enjoyable track events for Ferrari owners? (I've heard some of these are good spectator events, but not the best track events... while others may be much better for enjoying the Florida tracks.)
Cavallino Classic is a great spectator event. Like Monterey I would not want to drive with a bunch of Yahoos on the same track. Although I am registered for Thursday driving I may not do so. Italia Fest two weeks later is a good event to drive. Share the track with Lambos. Spring Spectacular with the FL FCA is great. Driving the famous Sebring full course is always fun and a trip down memory lane.
I am thinking about heading down to West Palm on Saturday for the concorso. Does anyone know were The Breakers lawn is located and event time? Also, Is there a charge for admiring the cars?
Mt Dora is Cancelled. I was on the TSC web site and noticed Mt Dora (April 05) is cancelled for good. Event consolidated with Winter Park from now on...
Hello! The annual Celebration Exotic Car concours and Rally event will be held the weekend of April 30-May 1, 2005, in Disney's beautiful town of Celebration, Florida, adjacent to Walt Disney World. If you attended in 2004, you know what a great event it was, and if not, you have probably heard about it! Last years inaugural event had over 100 exotic cars including Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Pantera, DeLorean, Aston Martin, Lotus, Rolls Royce and more. This year we have expanded the concours field and can accommodate 145 cars, but please register soon as we are expecting the event to be sold out. We have some special surprises this year, and our event promises to host some of the rarest and most exotic cars on the planet. Disney is expecting 15,000-20,000 spectators this year. The proceeds of the event will go directly to Make-A-Wish and Give Kids The World. In 2004, we donated $40,000 to Make-A-Wish with some matching corporate funds, and this year we hope to do even better! This year the concours event will be on Saturday, April 30, with class award presentations on the field. Saturday evening there will be a black tie (optional) dinner and major awards banquet at the Celebration Hotel. Sunday, May 1, will be our first annual rally, and will be a fun and challenging day to drive your cars and see central Florida! A block of rooms is being held at the Celebration Hotel at a discount rate. Please call 407-566-6000 for reservation and mention the Exotic Car Show. Please register on-line at www.celebrationexoticcars.com Again, please register early to avoid being sold out of this premier event! See you in April! Jeff Ippoliti Event Chairman
Jeff, you alwasy do your event begining of May which is the most stressful time for me. Just before law school final exams. Maybe next year I can make it If I'm done with finals by then Dont forget March 5 & 6 Grand Am/ IRL is racing down at Homestead & we can caravan down to watch. I need a head count on who wants to go so they can set up a Ferrari corral for us & we can get VIP seating
Hi Bill Come on, studying is overrated. You need some relaxation and car talk to prep for the big exams. Think how much more relaxed you'll be! Jeff
