PM = Top Dead Center (but I thought it was PM1-4 on the V8s -- i.e., piston #1 and piston #4 are at TDC simultaneously, but 1 rev out of phase in the 2 rev 4-stroke cycle). CS = exhaust closes (but the 10 seems a little small if that means 10 deg -- although I have no info this is not OK) AF 5 = this is a mark for functional testing -- your #1 cylinder ignition timing should be here at 5000 RPM (and it should be at the physical position of maybe 35~40 deg BTDC) AA = intake opens
Need to correct my prior post: "A5" is the 5000 RPM advance check mark. "AF 5" still might be that on your 328, but it might also just be a fixed mark at 5 deg BTDC or 5 deg ATDC. (You should be able to figure it out by it's relation to the corresponding "PM" mark.) CS 10 is probably correct -- my TR is the same
