Planning on subscribing to FML again. I've had the print version in the past but like the idea of logging on and being most current. Do you get everything online as you do in the print. Articles, ADs etc, etc.?? What do you guys perfer? Online subscription is $55.00 cheaper per yr. but I like flipping through pages too. TIA

    Ray,
I subscribe to the online addition and it works fine for me. Unless you have a need for the copies for future reference this way saves a little money for something that a little pricey IMO. As far as I know all the same info as hard copy.

I used to get print but it just increased my clutter and killed trees, online is fine, it's what I do now.

Online only is fine for me. And the new version makes referencing back issues far easier than it used to be.

Bob, that was one of the many things we had in mind when we made the all new site. Going through the back issues on the old site was fine until you realized you wanted to go back to the current issue for a moment - you'd have to click for half an hour to get back! But we took care of that as well as many other things.

Ray, everything that's in the print edition is in the online edition and vice versa. However, because our space in print is limited and our space online is not, we add many color photos to the classified ads and the articles. We're constantly adding new things to the website to improve it, so it's definitely the better and more cost-effective choice. Of course, we've always had a links section, where you can find hundreds of Ferrari-related websites. There's also our secure Book & Video Store. Call or email me with any questions or concerns you might have.

Carbon - Unrelated, but thanks for the nice mention of the NDACA in the Rampage article. It's much appreciated.

I'm the type to read a magazine from front to back and then start again to make sure I didn't miss anything. But sounds like online is the way to go. Everyone, thanks for the reply.

    Carbon, I'll subscribe tonight. thanks

Bob, you can't understand how genuine i'm being when i say it was my pleasure... i was all hyped and excited talking to PD after i got back from the event... i was going through my article and needed to do some fact-checking and PD and i got around to talking about the NDACA and the money that was raised, etcetera and so forth... So he gave me Mark's number and i get on the phone with Mark and my whole mood changes... i was calm and docile and just pretty much awestruck at the realization of what Roland's LM raffle tickets and the silent auction did for those kids... i can't imagine NEVER going anywhere unless there's 24hr medical treatment immediately available... Those kids are heroes... If i wake up in the morning and stub my toe, that's it, i'm done; my whole day is shot... What those kids put up with on a daily basis really puts things into perspective. i can't wait for Mark to contact me in July to let me know how the sleep-away camp went...

Ray, that's awesome. Don't hesitation to call me with any questions you might have. Take care.

Carbon – I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and working with Mark for over 20 years. He is indeed one of the finest people I have ever met.

As he may have told you, the proceeds of the raffle and auction will be enough to send 10 or 11 kids to one of our camps. This is largely due to the generosity of Roland and of the sponsors you mentioned in your article. One other I’d like to add is the U.S. Racing Club (Kent Broussard and John Morris); I believe their donation of a two-day Radical school was our second biggest earner in the auction.

Also, you may recall the “Bikini Calendars” our club was selling last year. Proceeds from those sales also went to NDACA. We plan to repeat that photoshoot and calendar sale later in 2005. Perhaps when we do, you can help us with a little publicity.

    Thanks again,

    Bob
