Anyone have any idea if there were any issues with cars coming into the Port?
I heard from a friend who lives near port that most of the Ferrari cars were moved in time, but hundreds of other brands were destroyed.
Fisker didn't do too well (http://jalopnik.com/5958523/fisker-lost-30-million-worth-of-cars-in-hurricane-sandy) I also heard (word of mouth, no link) that several thousand cars have been labelled "totalled" due to flood water at the port from Sandy.
In related news Fisker announced that they are on track to have their best month to date with more cars being "delivered" in one day than all previous days combined!
The last I heard (from Horseless Carriages) that no Masers or Ferraris were damaged. My new spider was supposed to hit the port the week of October 22nd but I have heard hide nor hair from FNA. My guess is that this latest N'Easter will cost me a couple more weeks. Supposedly at least 12,000 Toyotas were flooded and 16 Fiskers caught fire due to salt water shorting out the lithium batteries....not pretty!
Was talking to the horseless driver today that dropped off our only car that was at the port during Sandy. He said all the Ferraris were fine, and I saw no damage on the car I checked in.
