Go ask. Show that they are defective and not broken or worn out. Be polite but persistant and go up the ladder. Start at the dealer and work your way up in FNA. If they are defective FNA is usually very good about it. I have seen them replace belts way out of warranty.

One thing against you is you are not an original owner. They usually show a greater sense of responsibility to the person that bought new.

When I bought my car several (2.5) years ago, I called the dealer (FoA) about the seat belts. They checked the vin. # to see if it had been done. They had NOT so they fixed them at no charge.

Sweet, I'm going to visit FoNB (that's Newport Beach, which used to be FoOC or ORange County) to ask Alan if they'll do it. Man, this could save some real bucks.

    Thanks
