Good morning gentleman. As an FChat moderator, I guess that I can say the following: PLAY NICE before this gets out of hand. Before you know it this will turn into a slug fest. The subject has been discussed and argued for too long. Many of us know the history first hand. If the FOC wants to try and exist let them give it a try. Kevin may prove to be a good leader. Give him/them a chance. Question: how long is the person in the director position after they get elected?

Gee Kev aren't you taking a little to personally? Barton didn't attack you so why the personal attack? Based on that personal attack you have now shown that you have all the requirements to be the new Regional Director at the FOC FL. I hope the new Board will see your post and deal with you accorddingly, lets see what if things have changed at the FOC FL or they still endorse Board members personally attacking those that disagree with them??? Remember this thread was titled with "FOC" and you are a Board member, try being professional.

As I am the original poster of this tread I think it is time to call it quits! As far as my dispute I have learned since that DB is no longer in charge. Kevin is trying to salvage the FOC FL and has intentions to bring the Ray issue to the new board. A challenge and if properly resolved certainly a step into the right direction. Paul S. and Bart, give Kevin the breathing room to set this right what has been done wrong. I understand both of your resentments but understand who they are directed to. DB and maybe JC frm National, who has backed DB in his quest to destroy the FCA. In that both of you have been wronged by DB and JC but not by Kevin. So lets bring this to an end and see what Kevin will do with the FOC.
Martin, Kevin has been a Board Member for over a year and has done nothing to set things right, in fact he escalated the nonsense. Now because a new Board has been installed he must be given a chance??? That is BS Martin and you know it, he had a chance for over a year and all he did was become part and parcel to the Same old Sh*t, now he comes out and personally attacks Barton on FC and you say give him a chance???? As a moderator I am thinking of shutting this down....damn guys just let it go. Paul, let it go and let Kevin do what he said he would. He will be judged on his own statements in time. I hope it will be a positive outcome. I myself am guilty of being blinded by the Bobe sweet-talk, it usually takes a few months till you look though the mask. Lets just say Kevin has seen through and let him have the space he needs to prove himself. Let it go and we will take this back up in a year or so from now.
Kevin, This thread was a discussion started by Martin, you entered it by making a personal attack on Barton. If you do not like what people say about the FOC so be it but you have proved that the FOC has not changed. You were a Board Member and did nothing but stir the pot. You are a board member now and you continue to insult others, it really doesn't matter the degree of the insult. You are the same and the new Board would be smart to get rid of you. You are part of the problem and have proved it here on FC. If Martin wishes to moderate that he should have done so when Kevin made his personal attack on Barton.

Kevin, Are you for real? The Ferrari Chat Moderator made a post immediately after you told Barton to take a hike and warned you to behave. If the Ferrari Chat Moderator felt you were out of line that is all that really matters. I never said your post was "some huge or aggrievous "personal attack?" as you have just posted. You attacked Barton personally and instead of being a grown up and apologizing you wish to put words in my mouth. You are a great representative of the "New FOC FL" Somethings never change!
I could give a rat's ass about the FOC and wish it would eliminated as a topic of conversation quite frankly. I did find it funny that my quoting Einstein received such a response but as we later found out, I became a target due to the fact that I'm not a Ferrari owner (like two thirds of the people who post in F-Chat). That unprovoked response was directly from a megalomaniac mentality and typical of what may be expected from past FOC dictator (ur, um) leadership. I'm not an Aston Martin owner either but that did not stop the AMOC from making me an honorary member this year. I've sent Kevin my insights into the FOC and he has thanked me in kind and consider this subject finished. All this FOC nonsense isnt worth getting our blood pressure up over. If these guys want to try to revive it, let them try, it makes no difference to us. BHW
