FOC Indoor Go Kart event on March 19

Just received the last outstanding payment for the 2005 calendars, so I'm ready to open a new tab for Go Kart...Since we have so many people interested, I'd appreciate it if you guys could pay me in advance as I'll have to make an advance payment as well once I make the reservation.

So, send me a check please or paypal to for the amount of $ 70. We have a little time to go as I won't make the reservation before Feb 18.

Notice how we're way above the 10 person limit, so qualifying will be meaningful.
Add to that a handfull of spectators and we have one hell of an event!

 

Ok, we're all set. I put in the reservation and the money down for Saturday, March 19 at the Chicago Indoor Racing club.

You have to be 18 years or older and have a valid driver's license. Please note, that they have a zero tolerance policy for alcohol: You'll get a wristband. If you have a drink at the bar, the bartender will remove that band and without that band, they won't let you drive the go karts. So be warned and wait with the drinks till after the last race.

Program:
1:45 pm to 2pm check in at reception
2:00 pm to 3pm driver briefing, get your suit and helmet
3:00 pm to 4pm 3 qualifying races, 1 final race
4:00 pm award ceremony at the bar upstairs

With currently 16 drivers, this will be one hell of an event. We have two photographers and FOC Midwest will offer six trophies!

Anybody else who would like to join us, please send me a PM or post here and I'll make sure we can add that person to the roster.

 

You can have the last two spots if you like. Just send me a check for $ 140.

If you Dan come through, we're full and can't take any further reservations.

However having said this, I have currently 13 reservations outstanding where I haven't received payment. So the sooner I get that paypal, cash or check, the more secure somebody's spot gets. And I know of at least 4 more folks who had interest and might want to get in on the action.

This is going to be quite an event: 20 drivers, 5 spectators, 6 trophies and special parking for Ferraris courtesy of CIR and Boyracer. Can't wait!

Quick update:

We're basically sold out with 20 drivers. 20 is all they can take for this type of racing.

I have received payment from 12, 8 outstanding, but I'm quite certain they'll all come through.
