    Greetings everyone.I would like to announce our annual X-Mas party/dinner for this year.Our party will be held at The Fairlane Club in Dearborn.All FOC-Michigan members are invited and anyone who has participated in club activities in the past.The party will be held on Dec 6th and will start at 6:00pm for drinks and followed by dinner at 8:00pm.we'll be there 'till midnight.Please RSVP if possible as we need an accurate count for dinner.the address for the fairlane club is:5000 fairlane woods dr,dearborn,mi48126(313)336-4400.you can contact me at(313)445-8400 or anyother board member.hope to see everyone there....p.s. the cost $50.00pp this price includes two free drinks,after will go to a cash bar system....MO MAKKI

    Being an Irish Lad.....that "first two drinks free" comment made me laugh out loud! I'll make 'em long island ice teas then! That will just start to wet the ol'e whistle! But really.....I take in more alcohol with 2 spoonfulls of my home-made cough remedy than that. If I can talk Karen into it....we'll be there. I've put on a bit of weight lately...hopefully there will be enough of you to carry me out....?

    the menue is of course is Italian them...Italian buffet served all you can eat.I' ve also had them add fish for those how are not meat lovers...MO

    My sister was just telling me that she thinks its to far for me to drive in the weather (53 miles) each way but I'm still game may be a little later than 6 but Ill see you guys there.

    Two week days have passed and no updates, pictures, chatter about the party? (Except from the lamo who moved to Georgia).

    Sheesh!

    The FCA party is this Sunday, but it sounds like it is basically for FCA members only. I think I'm going to start the FOC Georgia region!

    Mike,
    Party was not so good. Bad weather caused a lot of no-shows. Food, drinks, and company were great, just not many of us. Food was especially good, wish I had some right now.

    Some of us had planned to go out with Phil and his Lovely Wife as his brother had invited us to his restuarant. Unfortunately at 10:30 I got a phone call. My 20 Y.O. son was leaving the Red-Wing game and a young girl who was also leaving the game ran a red light right in front of him on very slippery roads. Everyone appeared to be OK but two totalled cars. So I had to go downtown and arrange for a tow and drive my son back to his dorm at Eastern.

    Anyone got a line on a good used car?
