Looks like fun times. I just wish I would've joined the forum a little earlier then a day ago to catch this, but then again I was out on a cruise during the early afternoon.

I was there... Saturday. I must have taken one too many stone chips to the head with yard work and forgot which day was which. Maranello's trunk was loaded with F1 magazines to pass out to any Irvine fans, oh well. I called your cell but it went to voicemail, then tried Vince only to have him remind me that I need to lay off inhaling exhaust fumes...

Looks like everyone had a fun time and yes you lucked out weather wise. Richard's car does look sharp from the pics. The girls look quite comfortable in the classy 308s.

Darn, man, get your calendar straight. Would have been fun to see you and the car again. And some new stuff to read...We enjoyed Rick's bounty from Pebble Beach btw.

The two girls are actually in Tod's pristine 328. It reminds me of a scene from the movie "Dumb and dumber" (which is not a stab at the girls at all, it's just that the shot looks like the scene with the 308 and the twins, anyway).

    Andreas,
Great pictures! And the cars look good too! I don't think I could have had a bigger grin! Robert and I enjoyed meeting all of you and look forward to many more gatherings in the future. Dave and Rod, thanks for the wings!

That would be the one. Traded by 14K mile 1996 Corvette Grand Sport for it. GS is probably still sitting in the showroom.

The group missed some of you. Congrats to you guys for winning your trophies. Sorry I didn't show and couldn't stay but had a young lady waiting for me, Lady or Ferrari? ummm, sorry guys, a non brainer! Catch up with you on the next event. PS: Andreas still more magazines from Pebble Beach coming. I had to have a friend send them home for me from there. Too much to carry back on the plane.

    Yup, that's the car.

What's even more impressive are the records: Down to the original window sticker.

Here the shot from "Dumb and dumberer". That scene is actually hilarious. Red 328 GTS:

Scroll down to post #50, last picture.

BTW: Kerry says hello to everybody and again was happy to have us. We'll have another Hooters concours with him next year as well as another cruise night. Trying to keep the events diverse, a little something for everybody.

Here's some of my pics from the day. The October sun played some tricks on my digital camera so I had a couple turn out dark in the afternoon.

Enjoyed a Hooters burger, while the other guys at our table munched down 50 chicken wings. I could swear that I heard Tod "cluck" a couple of times as he downed the last of at least 20 himself !

    Enjoy,
    Dave
