    The FOC are opening up the race series to include newer cars and modified cars. Via different classes I think the aim is to be closer to "wring what you bring".

    Provisional dates

    Apr 10/11 Snetterton
    May 28,29 & 30 Spa
    June 25,26 & 27 Knockhill
    July 9,10 & 11 Zolder
    Sep 18 Oulton Park
    Oct 9 Donington (I presume they will get us JCB wheels to get over the muddy bits that have yet to be rebuilt)
    Oct 16 & 17 Silverstone.

    Several questions:

    - The FOC gives no details of the classes and race layout. Anyone here know anything about it?
    - Anyone else here interested in entering (once details are out)
    - Is it worth making an FC social event based around some of these events?

    There will be twp series the classic (308/328 etc) and the open which will allow in newer cars such as 430 alongside 355's but obviously in different classes. Unfortunatley silverstone and oulton are cancelled now with another date added at rockingham (?). Best to check nearer the time though as Donnington is a big ? But yes these race meets are good social gathering occasssions if you have a f car come and watch - more fun than watching a track day.
