    Our final event of the year is approaching. To avoid messing with everybody's busy Holiday season calendars, I picked an early date. The location will be Outback's Steakhouse near O'Hare (next to Hooters, alongside the Kennedy):

    I haven't decided on a time yet and wanted to give you guys a chance to respond. I'm thinking late lunch (1pm ish) or early dinner (5pm ish). Any preference?

    I'll bring the calendars with me and sell them there. Also we will crown the winners of the FOC 2004 Gumball trophies, so Tod and Rocketboy should better attend this event and we'll have the official FOC elections for 2005 (not that there is much to do).

    I ate at the Outback for this year's F1 season opener in Melbourne and have to say its food and wine are excellent and a value for the buck.

    Me too. My Daughter has a Basketball Tourney at her school on that Day,(and Sunday)

    Well, i have two parties that evening, if this is going to be in the evening, then i have three. So, i would prefer afternoon or the next saturday or even sunday???

    I don't want to move the date further into December, I think that would only create more conflicts.

    The "evening" option is an early dinner at 5pm ish. So if you, Tod only show for drinks before eating, you might be able to swing it?

    Rick just told me, he's joining and prefers the evening option.

    The time is not that important to me at the moment. I think the location is ideal and that's a good pick. I will be there but bringing my girlfriend is, at the moment, up in the air. Look forward to seeing you guys at the last gig of 2004 as its doubtful the spotters thread nor our drives together will be too active come January.

    Well, all hell is hitting on that day, just found out over thanksgiving my niece is haveing her dance performance of the nut cracker that day in Barrington, can't miss that and it's on that saturday night. I think this needs to take priority, unless you guys do a lunch thing or the next day, i won't be able to make it saturday night the 4th....

    NEVER MIND...... I will be able to make it now.... I was able to change things around, she is having a performance on sunday too, so i am going to that one instead of saturday night... You can add me back on the list.... I could use a nice steak.... :)

    I'm going to try and make it.

    I may bring Sheila #1, or Sheila #2, or the new MYSTERY Sheila or maybe no Sheila at all.

    It all depends on my mood at the time.........!

    At any rate, if I do bring a Sheila, IT WILL BE A SHEILA mates.

    I have eaten at Outback many times, are we all going to be able to fit there??? Most of thier seating are booths, even though they have a few tables to ba able to seat about 6 people. Unless this particular Outback is different, never been to it. We may want to also see if they will take a Reservation too, especially for a group this size..

    But, if all else fails, i just need a small little area by the bar so a can get a beer... :)
