I was thinking of going as well. Just to spectate of course. Have you gone before? How's the parking around there? I live about a half an hour away.
I went last year, spectating also. There is free parking, no need to worry about that. The spots weren't full but close capacity when I went.
Last year a group of cars met at the Montvale rest stop on the GSP around 9:30AM to caravan down to Red Bank. I'm not sure if they will be doing that again this year.
Ah I'm humble. I don't think my car is that Compelling any way. I think your right though $500 might be bit much. Maybe Ill join next year. How about Pocono? Are you going?
the poconos I've been told is a little snobbish so I didn't make plans. I'm usually up for anything but hard to find people to come out.
I just spoke to Steve at Arena motors. Im going to get my car on Friday. His wife mentioned they were going up as well. I've read there are as much as 300 cars there. Sounds like a nice display. I figured it would be a good run out there have a look and a nice run back. I'll probably still go to red bank on Sunday as well. Maybe I'll see you there.
If i could find a few non snobbs then I would be more likely to go. Mi car will be the one with the bugs on front because I drive a lot
Which event do you mean? I live in Staten Island I'm most likely going to Pa on Saturday. We might be able to meet up. Let me know.
Absolutely not true that Le Belle Macchine is snobbish. The exact opposite of that. I have gone for number of years and have met lots of great car guys and seen some incredible Italian cars -- 3 Maserati Birdcages in one spot, Lambo Miura Jota, Bizzarrini spyders. The list goes on and on. Try the Pebble Beach Concours if you want a more formal atmosphere -- always fun to see the people there walking around in period costumes with their cars. Le Belle is well organized and a lot of fun. Kirk
