Just to put a finer point on this: I have a Euro 360. Not a single shop has ever refused to service it. The "myth" about dealers and Euro cars is just that -- a myth. HOWEVER -- there are other reasons (i.e. the Power Warranty) to get a U.S. car. If price is the biggest concern, however, you can't beat a Euro for value... nlh
I'm also not convinced that a Euro is as taboo as some would suggest...I think the biggest issue would be resale, but that's also been factored into the price you'd be buying at as well (meaning that rather than an 01 360 Spyder costing you $178K or something close to that, a Euro in some cases, could be had for $15-20K less)...in the end, the same driving experience,...Yes??
yes. except, you should get more than 15-20k off by going euro. eurospec has a yellow spider, '01 with 6k miles, for 159k if ur interested.
Yeah, the last time I referred someone there, CC tried to sell a car...<Censored and Refraining Further Comments>
I actually being to STEVE Harris Import in SLC a few month ago. Those guys are down to earth, friendly and no BS. Two thumbs up (if I had more thumbs I would give more thumbs up). But the drawback is that you're here and if something goes wrong with the car, it's a loooong haul to SLC. If you need more info, please PM me and I would be happy to talk to you offline.
I went over to FoCNJ yesterday afternoon. Super friendly people there and heck of a great facility. Chris had just gotten back from vacation and was leaving in a matter of minutes for Cavallino but he stopped what he was doing and spent some quality time with me talking Ferraris, showing me the shop and making me feel at home. Sometimes you just get a feeling about people right off the bat and I could tell that Chris is a good guy and a genuine enthusiast and if he wasn't flying out for Cavallino, I think we could have BS'ed about car stuff all day. -Gary
Just went to FoCNJ and saw Chris...unfortunately, limited inventory (one yellow 04 Spyder)...will have to wait and see what else is out there.
If you buy a car from Sean that is under warranty, you can have it fixed at no cost at WWOC, FOLI or FOCNJ. This will not be a problem. If you are out of warranty, I wouldn't worry about it either. Sean always goes over his cars with a fine tooth comb and if they need anything at all (including a major) he will do it before selling the car. If something unexpectedly goes wrong when you first take delivery he will also take care of you... I purchased my first Ferrari from Ferrari of Scottsdale and wouldn't hesitate to do another deal across the country.
Any details you can provide about not dealing with Nick, as I am currently dealing with him and maybe I should find someone else to deal with. Thanks
did my 1st purchase wit wwoc, happy with dem. not feelin being treated right on 2nd purchase, went with some place else.
