Sunday, August 13 will be the annual FOC Hooters concours. Like last fall it is again at the Schaumburg Hooters. We will have a separate class for Ferraris. Everybody is welcome, FCA, FOC and unaffiliated. Double K Productions will provide 3 trophies defined by participants' choice.

To put a damper on the buddy votes, Kerry introduced an extra step in the voting system: The ballot is divided into 4 parts and randomly decided what part you can vote for. This will make the results a lot more fair.

    Who's in?

    Andreas with the other V8

Just drove past Hooters in Downers Grove. Their show is this Sunday 7/31. If anyone is interested they are on Butterfield Rd just west 1 block of Highland Ave.

Only the Schaumburg show on August 13 has its very own "Ferrari" class. If you go to any other show you'll be competing in the Import class. Good luck against the WRX folks.

True. Last year the event was in September and it was a rather cold day.

FCA stands for the Ferrari Club of America and FOC stands for the Ferrari Owners Club. Both are nationwide clubs with regional chapters.

The Hooters show is part of a year long series for mostly American muscle cars. Once a year in one show the organizers add a Ferrari class for us.

LOL! What are you talking about? You won a Trophy in the "Modified '80's Class" at a show last week with no modifications other than the wing off of a Fiero on the back of your Ferrari. So, apparently, it can be done!

This from the dude who mounts dead people/kids when angry after rocket launching them to death. I yet to see Sklitz do so... But then again given your profession of care to those with health issues, letting out some steam is ok.
