    I will be bringing my 328 to the shop tomorrow for the windscreen repair, oil change. I need to replace my FOG LIGHT bulbs to a smaller wattage , I like how bright they are, but my fog light switch is going to melt , its getting very hot, I put these bulbs in years ago, and until now, the switch did not burn out, but it has now. Can anyone recommend a replacement ?? if not, can anyone tell me the bulb number, I for the life of me can not remember how i found them all those years ago. I would consider HID, or maybe LED .please advise

    I think they are H3, 55W from the factory. Owners manual says 55W, but not type. A thread a long time ago says he replaced with H3.
