Well it's done! Taking delivery tomorrow of the '08 430 Spider that I looked at a month ago.
After talking with the guys last month about their car, we were just too far apart. So I started looking at the '07's. I almost had a deal done with a CA. dealer. We were literally $2,500 apart. The CA. dealer was asking about clutch life, and if I was aware how much clutch was left when I bought the car 5 months ago. I didn't know so I drove over to my selling dealer to talk with the service manager and see if he could look it up for me. Well, why he was looking up the service records I started talking with the guys on the floor and told them what I was up to. That got some serious attention, and to make a long story short 15 minutes later I owned the '08. It was raining here today so I'll bring them my '07 and pick up my new (2,500 miles) shinny beautiful Yellow spider tomorrow. I will be sure to post pics.

So I guess to answer my own question. Yes I lost it, I lost a 2007 430 Black coupe and gained a yellow spider!

Now that you took a bath :), can you tell us the differences between the 2? I've never driven a 430 coupe, but I imagine it feels more solid and nimble, no? If the weight difference is 250 lbs, it's not insignificant. But the spider has so much power, and handles so well, I personally don't need any more than this. Congrats man.

Well alright then. Enjoy your new ride. I was out in mine today and saw a yellow spider. Great color.
