I had both gas tanks out and now they are back in place. I have one little problem. I foolishly did not document where all the fuel hoses are supposed to connect and I am not sure about two fuel hoses. The first fuel hose is the long cloth covered hose that runs near the top of the firewall right next to the metal pipe. On the left side of the car it connect to a nipple on the top of the fuel tank. The other hose is the hose that comes from (or goes to) the fuel distributor. Which one connects to the nipple that I am pointing to in the picture? Where does the other one go?

On the passenger side fuel tank the most forward ( toward front of car ) attachment is the the hose that goes from the tank to the metal pipe that crosses over to the other tank. The second hose attachment site on the passenger tank now moving one back towards the rear of the car goes from the fuel tank to the fuel distributor line. The next 3 that are close together again moving towards the rear of the car run from the tank to the vapor separator. One of the hoses from the vapor separator runs from it all the way across the firewall to the driver's side fuel tank. Keep in mind this is on my 328 but I believe they are one in the same ( FI ). I have the parts manual but am unable to copy the diagram. I found a link ( below ) that may help you. Hope this helps.

Let me know if the diagram is not enough. I "might" have my photos from changing mine, 1977 308 GTB US Steel. There are tons of stuff on changing the lines here on FChat. Just search fuel lines.

Hopefully you are replacing ALL of those old lines. And every single line in the system, including all those vent lines, should have clamps on them. You absolutely do not want any leaks, including vapor leaks, in the fuel system.

Yes, all fuel hoses including the vent lines and the ones to the roll over valve. The only reason there are no clamps on a couple of hoses in the picture is because I was not sure they were connected correctly. They are now connected correctly clamped in place and the car has been test driven. Everything with the fuel system seems to be nice and tight. The car started up on the first try took an extra 2 seconds perhaps. Thank you Dan that was just what I needed.

    Geo,

Glad to hear you got it sorted out and running. The process is not fun but the result always is.
