This coming from the guy who didn't know that a football game could end in a tie. That
Syracuse education really kicking in there.

It is amazing the amount of people who think racing is not an athletic activity. I always
tell them to try doing 20 minutes on go-kart at an indoor track and see for themselves.

I refer non-believers to PitFit Training

My first time in a race kart, my body died on me in under a dozen laps.

let me tell you that I was exhausted after doing the two hour enduro with no co-driver. Put McNab in a pack of 43 cars at 190mph at Homestead and see how he feels then

Just another ignoramus. He probably hogs the left lane in an SUV using the bottom of his wrist to steer while he texts with the spare hand and thinks that is "driving."

The longest play in the NFL lasts 15 seconds or so. They then have 30 seconds to regroup or substitute as a minimum, or call time out, go to commercial break, measure where the football is placed, etc. There is a tremendous amount of standing around. Baseball is mostly standing around or sitting in the dugout waiting to bat.

If those guys are athletes, and they are, racing where there is a premium placed on both physical and mental endurance, no time outs, substitutions only for the longest endurance events and a misjudgment can be fatal are without a doubt athletes.

I do hope someone calls out this washed up, never won a super bowl, sideline puking, poor excuse for a broadcaster, soup selling has been, sticks him in a car and runs him around until he screams uncle.

Someone direct him to Ernest Hemmingway and his thoughts on stick and ball sports.

Sounds like jealousy to me. How many championships did McNabb win?

    Oh, I forgot - NONE. JJ - 6, McNabb - 0.

    Game. set. match.

So the knee-jerk response is "he's not an athlete".

Hell I was plumb tuckered out after only 5 laps when I had my 80cc shifter kart  !!

McNabb is a tool yet he still thinks his opinion is relevant.

    No, the proper response is:

    McNabb championships = 0

ANY driver in ANY series = 1 (or more)
