    The new football stadium in Los Angeles is shaped like a wing. (Hope it doesn't "take off" in high winds!) Maybe Bob Parks can tell us what airfoil section that is. Does it look like a Clark Y, Bob?

    Forgive my ignorance, but could it have something to do with using prevailing winds for ventilation?

    Looks close to a NACA 4415 but kind of flat in the mid point. Interesting concept.

    Looking at this again, it doesn't resemble any airfoil too well but comes close. It would take a hurricane and a lot more span to make this"airfoil" work even a little bit.

    Bob- Affirmative, first the wind has to get under the building to generate much lift. If that happens, how much lift the airfoil develops is likely the least of your problems.

    Yes, I was just exercising some silly thoughts. i have never been to the LeMay but I should since it is only 50 miles away. Even that now is something that I have to plan.
