    Fotballers? :p

Interesting so many of them like Aston Martins. Do you think that's a patriotic thing for an England footballer?

    All the best,
    Andrew.

    I would think so.

Is it? I would have thought that Aston Martin is the "footballer's choice" diminishes their brand value. Having a "footballer's car" is seen as quite derogatory, since these guys are stereotypically young, lack taste, are wholly devoid of even the smallest modicum of sophistication, and have more money than they know what to do with.

Those of you based in the Manchester/ Cheshire areas may be familiar with these cars.

THIS is why you don't want to be brand associated with footballers!! :

I thought the same thing, actually made me laugh out loud. I guess the simple rules of supply and demand don't matter if you're David Beckham. He wasn't the only footballer to buy on the Palm either apparently.

I always thought the typical EPL players car was the Bentley Continental GT. Almost as synonymous with them as the mock-tudor mansion and the bimbo girlfriend.

Basically except for the two 612's it's all cars that footballers are associated with, which pains me to say that because AM is in that list. And I saw a DBS this morning. :)

I think nearly every footballer in the Prem league has bought a Range Rover of some description at least once. For me, that's the definitive footballers car, although the WAGS are often driving it.

Lampard has had two DB9's and two 599's (although one was HR Owen's demonstrator they lent him till his turned up). He now has a range rover and a 16M

A mate of mine (recently retired footballer) bought in Dubai and it's been a nightmare and wants out - but can't get out as no one wants his 'waterfront villa' .

I'll be teaching English all being well. The general plan is to work in South Korea then maybe Japan or HK and eventually head to China. Plenty of travel in between of course!

I just don't see myself working in the UK for the rest of my life. At least not for a few years!
