Are there any Ferrari owners-groups in Auburn-Folsom-Foothill area who get together once in awhile to meet-drive-socialize? There are at least four of us in Grass Valley with Ferraris who get together occasionally for casual fun car stuff. Just looking for Ferrari fun locally that doesn't require the long drive to the Bay area.

Gene, I'm in Folsom and there are a few other ferrari owners here as well. Ernie GT usually puts together some runs in the spring and the summer. We usually meet at the Starbucks in El Dorado Hills. Unfortunately the past few drives I haven't been able to attend. There are a nice bunch of guys. Keep tuned in to the Nor Cal section in upcoming months for future drives.

Take Care and rain, rain go away.

Yes, there are quite a few people here. I don't drive an F-car, but my pops did. We have an SL600 now for kicks, and that is a little handful, but its built for just cruisin. I tried to organize something at the Towe Museum, but many people decided they did not want to show up. The Silver Lotus was there, and that was a sweeeeet little car. Just a road legal go-cart. But if anyone would just like to meet up and just get to know eachother, post it up. It doesn't have to be a Ferrari gathering, I would just like to meet some of the people here. I think it would be cool, but some people may disagree.

Anyway, I drive an ML320, and I would be down to meet up somewhere up the road a little ways, even if the weather isnt too pleasant. Thats me though.

Gene - make the rain and snow go away and lets go for a drive. My ponies are going stir crazy!

I'll have my Daytona parked in the Grass Valley car show 4/22. Come check it out.

I saw one of the erniegt drives posted last year but couldn't go, maybe this year. Thanks for reminding me. Steve, I just drove up Quaker Hill to check the snow and it's almost gone. Since I now live downhill from you I have actually been able to take each of my cruisers out for exercise(therapy) once every few days. I'll check on the GV car show, maybe even enter. Maybe get Dave(?) and Dan to show up? But you're right about the rain, it needs to leave soon. Gene

Went to NUHS and used to live off Mcourtney but now live in Reno, would be interested in hooking up with you guys sometime. I'm frequently on Hiway 49 between NC and Downieville all summer long; watch for black 575 or Red CS w/ stripe (or green Ducati 998 for you bikers). Mike

Mike, I"m an NUHS grad, too (1982). I've been meaning to do the 49/89/80/20 loop sometime soon when the snow clears and the roads are less sandy. We could meet up along the way.

Gene, the Grass Valley car show might be full by now, and they only take 1972 or earlier. At least they'll take furrin' cars, unlike the car show at the fairgrounds in Sept, which only does 'merican.

I was 82 and my wife is class of 84. Saw you in the yearbook but don't think we've met. Keep me posted on any local events and I'll try to make one. I'm trying to get some Reno cars to go into NC for brunch at Trolly.

After yet another deadline this Wednesday evening, I should be able to break out of my work-Twilight Zone soon--but only temporarily, of course. Sorry I haven't called. I'll be using the 328. Boxer will be in the Burlingame shop soon (again-same symtom).

Before the really heavy weather hit, I followed my neighbor on one of the many, many drives he does (Porsche). We went a ways west on 20 and then turned north up to a big damn (which locals will recognize) and eventually ended up back on 49 at, I believe,- the *north* fork of the Yuba. That was a very nice drive.

BTW, a couple months ago I was exiting S-bound 49 at Brunswick and saw a red Ford GT getting on S-bound 49 from Brunswick at that moment. Couldn't tell if it was a new Fordt GT or an old GT 40. I wondered if that was ErnieGT from El Dorado Hills.

Ernie has a blue Ford GT with white stripes. I saw him driving around Folsom one day. He has a beautiful car.
