360 wheels look really nice. I'm still thinking of something more like these 360 premium wheels (pic copied from the t.rutland Ebay auction in Dec).

I think those 360 wheels look as good as 355 wheels do on the 348... :)!!!!

As for tire size... go with 225/40-18 fronts......... and 285/35-18 rears ............... they will fit those rims perfectly :D!!!

does a 355 have 225/40/18 on the front?

I think a 285 may be a little too wide

Anybody know how much lighter 360 wheels are compared to 348 wheels?

I stated this before and did it my way. I dislike the factory tire set up on the 360 wheels for the 348. IMO the car looks funny, the rear tires are to big, plus the off set is a little off, but I LOVE the 360 wheels on the car. So when I got my 360 wheels, I have been running 275/35/18 rears and 225/40/18 fronts. IMO PERFECT. The lower profile tire makes it seem like the off set is not that bad, and car looks a ton better. I am running the PZERO ROSSO tires, with the PZERO in red on the tire, not the yellow. I love it, the car handles great and no problems what so ever. I hope this makes it easier for you to make your mind up.

The tyres on my 360 rims are also 285/35/18 and in my opinion look about 10mm too wide at the back.

As I cannot be hassled with skimming the wheel hubs, when the time comes I will replace the 285s with 275s ... until I can find a set of Competizione look-a-likes that is!

can you guys post some pics.

I have been running this set up for 2 or 3 yrs. with no problems

but it's time for new tires

the stock tire for the rear is 255/45/17 = 26.1" tall

the stock tire for the front is 215/50/17 = 25.2" tall

the tires I'm looking @ are Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1

    fronts will be 225/40/18 = 25.1" tall

    rears will be 275/35/18 = 25.6" tall

My thing is, the overall hight of the tires would be shorter than stock

& they turn more rev. per mile

    ????????????????????? please post some pics.

When I put tyres on my 360 rims (now burriana's) I used the following calculator to decide on the tyre size.

    http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible_pg2.html

It has a very good calculator to work out the differences and effect on speedo. I tried to keep as close to the original rolling radius as possible.

Not sure how the 275/35 will effect the width at the back. The tyre wall for the 285/35 seemed pretty flat in line with the rim so I imagine it will give it a slightly stretched look. I.e. tyre wall leans inwards.
