Check it out fellas: I was orginally going to be up at CSU for track and field, but my coach at CSU transferred to CU so I decided to follow her. She is a great coach, and I would have not had a multi-event coach up at CSU and track was one of my main reasons for picking a college, so that's why I changed my whole life around!! It's VERY hectic at CU right now. We're doing orientation right now, and since the college switch was an August thing, I was a little late on applying for housing and all that, so I might not have a dorm until next Wednesday, and we start school on Monday!! Registration is whole different fiasco. Oh well, I'll be settled in and have a boring routine come October! My last semester at CU was...let's just say it was when Hendrix was still alive. Great school and town. You're going to love it.
Shuck you, cornhuskers! When I was at CU Jimmy Hendrix was not only alive but rockin. When I was at CU FAC was a three day party. When I was at CU we beat Nebraska in football. When I was at CU we were the number one party school in the nation. What the heck is going on today? When I was at CU we went on woodsies in the spring and fall. When I was at CU we never let studying interfere with a good time. When I was at CU if you didn't make your grades you got an all expense paid trip to Viet Nam. When I was at CU underclass women had "hours" so if they wanted to stay out late they had to "check out of the dorm" and spend all weekend with you. When I was at CU it was the hippies vs the people who took baths and brushed their teeth. and I got a great education. OK I can Spel gud two.
I think this is still the case, Phil! Alex, I think you'll find that you've made the right choice. And this, coming from a CSU alum! (Just don't tell my wife I said that, she went to CU so the battle still rages at our house.) Looks like your on the right track (forgive the pun) to greatness! Good luck with everything, now stay off the internet and study, young man!
You can't spell "scumbag" without CU!! Ha!! All in good fun... ;-) ((((((((((HUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSKER)))))))))))))))) ((((((((((POWWWWWWWWWWWER)))))))))))))))) ((((((((((HUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSKER)))))))))))))))) ((((((((((POWWWWWWWWWWWER)))))))))))))))) ((((((((((HUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSKER)))))))))))))))) ((((((((((POWWWWWWWWWWWER))))))))))))))))
OK. Flush the toilets. Nebraska needs the water. the thing that always amazes me is the people from Nebraska and Texas put down Colorado and there are almost more Nebraska and Texas license plates in summer (to get out of the heat) and in the winter to get to great skiing. I think it's climate envy. Life is too short not to own a Ferrari and live in Colorado. This is my home. Deal with it. Don't worry i will never move to Nebraska or Texas so you can sleep well. Phil, keep that quiet would you or there might be an influx of bugeaters. Oh crap, they're already here!!!!! Isn't it amazing how it seems that Nebraska is a really great place...to be FROM?
Funny, I've lived in Texas for 20 years and I've NEVER heard anyone put down Colorado, quite the opposite in fact. I grew up in Colorado, and heard nothing but negativity for Texans while I lived there. I was actually one of the people bemoaning their existence.
Must be just when Texans come to Colorado to wit: The cars are better. The food is bette The houses are better. the businessmen are better. The girls/women are better. Football is better. The BBQ is better. The Mexican food is better. And so on... However, they never talk about the weather or the scenery. ROTFL Some Texans don't think Texas should be part of the USA, the Lone Star Republic and all that. LOL I like the girls, the Mexican food, the BBQ and I like Texans. I find if you are nice to people they are nice back. Texans are no exception. A Fortune 500 company I worked for in Colorado got "acquired" by a company from Houston. I got a job in San Francisco rather than move to the Lone Star State. My mother was born in El Paso so I guess I am part Texan myself even though I've never lived there. Peace Life is too short not to own a Ferrari and live in Colorado. Life is good.
CU Golden Buffafloes 31 CSU lambs 28 In overtime. Life is too short not to own a Ferrari and be a CU Buffalo fan. I was never worried. Knew we had it in the bag the whole time. LOL think I'll have a Fort Collins instead of a Tom Collins to celebrate. Here's looking at you, kid. Cheers!
CU plays Arizona State University next. Don't know of CU will beat them but I'll bet they can beat the University of Phoenix.
Not hearing much from the bugeaters as of late are we? Being depressed is one thing but being depressed in Nebraska is a whole 'nother ballgame. GO YOU BUFFALOES!!!!!
How right you are. In Nebraska, there is ONLY Nebraska football, unless Creighton Basketball goes to the NCAA's. Oh - there is NU volleyball, too. In Colorado, there are all kinds of teams to root for.
