Pretty cool site, you can type in a beer and see how it's rating is and see what foods go well with it, you can also search throught ehre list and see the top 100 beers, as well as the 50 worst beers. (Corona light is the worst according to the reviews...it even beat out Natural Ice!) All sorts of beer info.

This is probally my favorite part http://beeradvocate.com/beer/style/ Just click on the type of beer you like and find something new to try.

damn you indeed! I don't have time for this... but wait... my darts need some action so I will have to give some more a try.

current personal favorites: Aventinus, Coffee Porter, Kwak, De Koninck, and of course, the default: Paulaner Hefe Weizen.

Most of my friends call me a beer snob, and I can live with that. =)

    I demand a recount.

Hoegaarden didn't even make the top 100? That's a tragedy.

Does anybody else find it funny that non-alcoholic O'Douls beat out 49 other beers for "Worst Beer"?

While it is good, I typically offer it up to women who are not beer fans but wouldn't mind trying out the lemonade style beer.

Ouch. That stings. Are you referring to Mike's Hard Lemonade style drinks, or just because there's a hint of lemon and coriander in it.

But that is odd, most of my lady friends don't care for the Hoegaarden.

But, I love it so much that I commissioned one of my more arty friends to make this for me. The payment was a keg of Hoegaarden.

Didn't mean to be harsh Jeremy. It is quite a light drink though. It is good, but can be a bit too sour with that lemonade style of taste. One female friend of mine tasted it, liked it, but then went straight for the Aventenus. After two of those, she was toasted for the night. Strange how she preferred that taste when she wasn't a beer drinker at all.

Beer tastes nasty... Is beer something you have to get used to? Like wine?

It is a taste you get used to. And you will drink a lot (once you are legal) of beers you do not enjoy. Sierra Nevada and Fat Tire are two that come to mind that my friends enjoy and I dislike. But others, such as Duvel and Chimay are smooth and like water to me. They can't stand em. To each their own.

Just don't drink till your legal. <----Disclaimer-----
