can anyone recommend a really good mechanic as close to the city (or IN the city!) as possible...and of course, not too expensive... does such a thing exist? thanks a lot! phil
vinny latino - autoelite - just over GWB. came highly recommended to me and has done two seasonals on my 575 - great work, reasonable price. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=256660
Phil- Marjan at Vantage Motorsports in Glenbrook Ct. He was the ex Miller Motor car head mechanic and runs a great shop for many years. His son Mike now runs it and they are very professional. You can drive up & I'll take you out to dinner & you can take the RR back. They are quite good....thats the way to go!
hi tom! it would be top class to see you...how far is that from NY? i'm hoping to find somewhere that's really close-across the tunnel in NJ, for instance..
I agree Vincenzo Latino at Autoelite in ft lee nj is at the entrance of the GWB cant get closer to NYC . I live in NYC and have two Ferraris and a Maserati . all go to vincenzo when needed. He is always honest , treats everyone with respect and very reasonable with prices. I have been in his shop to see a car sent to him by the dealer to figure out a problem they could not solve on an older ferrari!!! after him it would have gone to italy!
Phil- its about 1 hour maybe 40 mins...I guess the guy in NJ is closer. If you change your mind pls let me know!! dinner would be great sometime!! Alberto said he may be in NYC area this summer- he is a great guy maybe the 3 of us could hook up...stay tuned!
