I just bought a 2022 Roma. I live in Philadelphia city proper and have an outdoor parking spot. I really do not want to leave the car out for long outside and I am also trying to avoid using one of public garages.

Do others have similar issues? Where do you store your car if you live in the city?

Philly is a real pita for any parking, let alone indoor parking.

I’ve tried looking to no avail. Only option I found is to buy a townhouse/condo with garage, which is what I went with. If u find out anything I missed please let me know, always looking for another spot!

I'm continuing to look. Just a locked lot would work, even if it is outdoor.

in my building, even though it is private parking, a few months ago, a few kids got in and were shooting a music video in front of the exotics before security removed them. I take solace that my dirty old jeep ruined the ambiance

I remember 20 years ago a colleague bought a brand new m3, parked it in a gated hospital parking lot. It was stolen right out of there. Apparently they let a flatbed in, picked it up and drove straight out. From what he told me, no one was caught, insurance paid for a new m3, in a color he liked better.

If the car isn’t an irreplaceable classic, if u already have a reserved spot, that may be good enough. That’s what insurance is for. Downside of city living

Get a monthly rate from the garage at 1845 Walnut St. Rittenhouse Sqaure attracts higher class people and parking on an upper level will afford added security.

  6. I am sorry, I don't mean to be snarky.

But this issue never crossed your mind before you bought the car?

It did. What was I supposed to do? Not buy the car? ;)

I do have a townhouse with a deeded parking spot. It is not on any main street. Just that it is outdoor. Trying to find a better alternative if I can.

If u do continue to leave it out be sure to use a windshield sunshade. Leather dash shrinkage is inevitable otherwise. Don’t know what it is about Ferrari leather. I have a Porsche I have left outside for 7 years since new. Dash is still perfect.

Good point on the dash. I have ordered an outdoor cover. I do keep my 911 in a covered garage in the city. That is a bit older car and less leather. I’ve been fine leaving it outside too.

I can’t believe anyone would consider leaving any exotic car parked outside 24/7.

I’m not in your area but was running out of garage space.

I bought a warehouse, it worked out well. Also found I had more friends than I thought I did. :)

Do you have any storage units nearby? Not the most ideal and probably not climate controlled but better than being left outside.

Was your car parked on Rittenhouse Square a few weeks ago? I believe it was a Saturday evening.

Don’t think so. Avoiding center city parking :)
