Some thoughts: You do an extensive job summarizing the model/series but say very little about your car, its history, services performed, or transmission type (from the listing price I’m assuming you have an automatic?). More/better pics, including the interior, engine bay, underside will also give potential buyers a better sense of the car. Given the unique nose job on your car, I would explain that too. I would also specify where the car is located. Hopefully this is helpful. The pictures show nice. GLWS! Ruben
Good day Ruben, I do not think the car in question is Simon's... I think he simply posted the link to the for sale ad which was posted by "kevspy" who looks to be offering the car. Cheers, Sam
Thank you Sam,correct......though Ruben's expressions are exactly what I was thinking re this advert! Lot's of cream but nowhere near enough cake!
Whoops! Sorry Simon, I should have seen more carefully who was posting! Hopefully the seller sees the recommendations and improves the ad. Cheers! Ruben
Zero information about the item being offered and much of the hyperbole is irrelevant, exaggerated, plain wrong or speculation. Reminds me of the beater luxury cars offered on Craigslist in the under $2000 category. The stripe on the front speaks volumes more about this car.
My hope is that the stripes are hardware-store-grade electrical tape, and whoever gets this can simply peel it off and voile--normal, elegant 400. And yes, the info is incredibly lacking. I run a school--and before we ever admit anyone, we do an extensive check of reports, history of school/family/student....same with any car I buy. This ad does nothing to inspire confidence in buyers...it only makes us skeptical of what is lurking. And yet still, GLWS. The blue color is beautiful on these cars!
