For Sale For Sale New F12 DCT Gearbox Transaxle

One brand new F12 DCT gearbox. Ferrari Part Number 278272 In crate, never opened.

I purchased since the gearbox is arguably one of the only weak links in the monumental F12 drivetrain and eventually availability of this part will be very limited. While rebuild kits are available, they are only for electronics, hydraulics and seals etc. No actual mechanical parts like gears and shafts are available for rebuild so if you have a major failure you need a new gearbox. You cannot order one without Ferrari permission and a F12 serial number. I have heard horror stories of what happens when you require a gearbox and have no alternative but to purchase from dealer while your car is sitting on their hoist. My understanding is list price is USD $60,000 plus shipping.

I planned to keep my F12 forever so ordered this gear box; however, circumstances changed and I sold my car. This is also a nice inflation hedge since Ferrari raises parts prices by approximately 10% on average per year. Located in the USA and will be shipped in current crate as shown in attached photo.
