    There's a Youtube video of some of them at a track and one of them supposedly has 600HP.

    I wish there were more color variations but a lot of them were built red. It looks much better IMO in some of the other colors.

    exactly 369 Shamals were built between 1991 and 1996. Most of them came between 1991 and 1992 (222 in the first year and 95 in the second, if I remember well), but the most interesting must be the individual-order, hand-built Shamals that came out between 1994 and 1996, overall less than 10 cars if I remember my numbers. These unique cars were special customer orders since the production line for this car effectively had been replaced in the factory by the Ghibli in 1992. I heard of at least one car that came out with ABS brakes and a special 410 HP factory engine, on special order from an Italian businessman. It was light metallic blue with black leather. I also heard that some of these last Shamals were ordered from Arab States and japan, but otherwise they are pretty much a mystery since most of the people who worked on this project have left Maserati by now.
