Jan '84 was when Ferrari started using galvanized body panels. Prior to that, driving through a fog bank could cause the car to disintegrate.

I have found that when driving 002C in the rain it's very important to make sure the floor drains aren't plugged up. When I took my 275 GTB skiing I found that it was a good idea to check the ski rack every once and a while.

+1. My 308 saw rain a few times. My TR saw rain lots of times, a hurricane once, and even a light dusting of snow.

I drive my cars in the rain. I guess living in England, if you are not prepared to drive in the rain you will never get to use your car! Maybe that's why there are so many low milage Ferrari's in the UK? Weird, for me they are only metal and are ment to use and enjoy.

    In my opinion, total nonsense.

I have been driving my 1967 in the rain since I bought it in 1975.

I've put well over 100,000 miles on it, many in the rain.

    No sign of rust anywhere.

    When will it disintegrate????????????????????????

I consider this to be one of the most important statements made about Ferraris.

They are not temples of worship, nor are they a form of religion.

They were created, designed, engineered and intendedTO BE DRIVEN. Driven hard, I might add.

ps - I just saw a post from a while back about a 330 2+2 that was driven 4 times a year. Let's have some fun with that.

If you drive my Mondial in the rain, you'll get a shower. Top leaks, better now, but still leaks, and I'm told that all of them do that.

I just got caught first time in my 328 GTS in a sudden gully washer day before yesterday - out with
my wife for a spin. We pulled over, put the top on, and wow! - the windshield wipers do
a great job, even with interval timing! Even tried to make her break traction (the car, not
my wife) and narry a wobble. Was actually kind of fun - felt downright naughty! Came
home and washed her (the car, not my wife) in the driveway in a sprinkle (weird looks
from neighbors) so she was not put away dirty. Then went inside, with a smile on my
face, and made her dinner (my wife, not my car).

Wow, that's the most exciting Ferrari video I've ever seen. Does it come on Blu-ray?

My Coupe never leaked... water that is ;) But in the rain it did produce perfect twin counter-rotating vapor trails off of the rear flanks.
