I know parts of this have been posted elsewhere, but here it is plain and simple (quotes from Racer Magazine):

Q: Is it true that Ron told you about the new evidence?

“In Hungary on the morning of the Hungarian GP Ron rang me and he said I’ve just had Alonso in the motorhome, and he says he’s got information, and he’s threatening to give it to the federation. I said, ‘What did you say Ron?’ ‘I said go on and hand it over.’ I said, ‘Ron you’ve said exactly the right thing.’ And then Ron said ‘But there isn’t any information.’ ‘So it’s an empty threat?’ ‘Yes, a completely empty threat, there’s no information, there’s nothing to come out, I can assure you if there was something Max, I would have told you.’ Now this was a week after looking me in the eye in the World Council and telling me there was absolutely nothing wrong, and everybody had done exactly as they should do. So I believed him, I’ve know Ron for 40 years, it’s very difficult for me when somebody I’ve known for 40 years looks me in the eye and says ‘Max I’m telling you the truth,’ with complete sincerity. And you believe him. It was only when I got the list from the Italian police, 323 SMS phone calls going over a three-month period between Couglan and Stepney. I thought there has to be more to this. You don’t get 300 messages arranging a visit to Honda. This is something serious. At which point I sat down and wrote the letter to the drivers. And then the rest is history.”

The view is very nice from here, and I can pick up all kinds of radio and TV transmissions from Earth. I brought my own interesting and uselful life forms here, and I blackmailed Ron Dennis into shipping me all of the water (and hot air) I need using technology stolen from Ferrari.

Yes, I know 4RE lost last year.

The delays are much shorter than you might expect. At its minimum, Earth is about 35 million miles away from me (3 minutes for signals to reach me) and at its maximum, it is about 220 million miles (19 minutes) away.

Rumor around the paddock is the 2008 McLaren's will share launch control mechanisms with the Space Shuttle Atlantis. Coughlan's Hotmail account is on fire.

    In 5, 4, 3, 2...

Last thing I heard was that some teams are opposing this. Do we know if they're still going with the spec ECUs?

kind of like how you dont understand simple concepts.

do you know the max moselys history, his family history ?
from your replies its obvious you know very little (about a lot) instead you try and be facetious

Max Mosley son of Oswald Mosely the famous fascist
Hitler and Goebbels were guests at his parents wedding (held in Goebbels house!!!)
He spent most of the war with his parents under internment and then house arrest.
now you cant blame the son for the ills of the father however Mosely chose to be an election agent for his fathers Union Movement (fascist) political party in the 60's and was going to be an election candidate (you do know what fascists are yes ?)

so pardon me for not being particulary pro Max Mosley - but then ive based my views on facts not conjecture and blind faith.

And how does that relate to racing and the FIA? He was elected by the FIA in 1997,2001 and again in 2005. If you don't like fascits then you surely must like elections. Maybe you're the one who doesn't understand simple concepts. You're the one who's blinded by your support for Mclaren.

    Congratulations Ferrari 2007 WCC.

    Here goes:

    1. What simple concepts are you referring to? Punctuation, spelling, or something more obtuse?

    2. I don't know anything about "Max Moselys history, his family history."

Now there was a pretty famous British physicist, Henry Gwen-Jeffreys MOSELEY (closest spelling to your MOSELYS that I could find), who developed the modern form of the periodic table, but no Max MOSELY or Max MOSELYS. If you are referring to Max MOSLEY's family history, the answer is YES, and I have known about it for a long time. It is all over the Internet, Google, and F-1 Racing Magazine has mentioned it a few times in its pages. I agree with you - it is not a family history to be particularly fond of. Heck, if I ran into Max MOSLEY, I'd ask him about the BUF (British Union of Fascists) and how and why he ever became involved with his father's Union Movement.

    3. I have no idea what is or is not obvious to you, but I clearly was being, NOT "trying to be," facetious with respect to you being "delightfully amusing." You might want to look "facetious" up in a BIG dictionary so you might have a better grip (or "purchase" - while you're at it, you might want to look up "purchase" too) on the subtlety involved in my facetious comment.

    4. Old news, see item 2 above.

    5. I never urged anyone to be "pro Max Mosley." But I find your comment that "ive [sic] based my views on facts not conjecture and blind faith" to be pretty fatuous (as in "delusive"). If you haven't read the WMSC's September 13, 2007 decision, you should. After you have read it, I'd like to see your response as to which specific facts in the decision are wrong.

Oh well, the race is over, Ferrari won rather convincingly, time to move on and see what kind of excitement is in store for McLaren and RD next.

Maybe RD will decide he can make more money by staging a boxing match between Alonso and Hamilton. I'd tune in for that.
