Yes I know it's rare, but it is going to take $100,000 to do it to concours standard...

    I agree.
There may be some serious re-manufacturing or searching out parts on that one (i.e. transmission, intake manifold, carbs, air cleaner...).It's priced too high for a collector to have a viable restoration and return and too high for most typical enthusiast/home mechanic as a fun driver to do himself. That is a niche market car and they are hoping 'the guy' will see the ad.

    Wow..$100k, are you sure ??

interesting story (well slightly !!). About 7 years ago I had a lancia fulvia for sale here in melbourne. A potential buyer turned up in one of these ASA's. He claimed to have another and offered to do an exchange; 2xASA's for the fulvia--and I said no!! #$@% !!

We have a 1960 ASA in our shop and I'm trying to find any and all information on this little car. The owner has a couple cars that we have done and again would like for this car to be fully restored. We have The ASA Story, in Italian! But i'm trying to find out where I can get parts and hopefully a manual about the car! If anyone can help out with this that would be great! You can see pictures of the car at or web site www.thecreativeworkshop.com in the gallery under current projects! Currently it's sitting in our show room stripped down to nothing showing the hand made panels that we are going to have to fix! Hopefully if we find some information this restoration can start! Thank you for any help! Amy
