alonso sucks. he's a rat, a spoiled brat, and I would never want him on my team. I'll be the first to admit he's the most well rounded driver out there, and yes he does give ferrari the best chance of winning, but somethings are more important than winning. Go iceman give them hell at mclaren next year along with lewis.

One day you might understand that the car and Ferrari were the best because Mike was there and made the team what it became. We all have to remember that Ferrari like many Italian companies never reach their full potential because of internal squables. Mike came to Ferrari with the understanding that he and his team would run things his way and they would become winners. They did and they did. Many people in here hated Mike and Ferrari because they were too good. Hey...thats not their fault. The other teams just couldnt progress with their programs as well as Mike and Ferrari. This is when F1 started to lose some money and started to manipulate anyway they could. Now that Mike has been forced out we are having closer and closer finishes and many in here think its great raceing. I know that it is just controlled racing and F1 is now just a show.

I think a lot of people dislike Alonso because he is whiny. I don't mind it. He makes for better entertainment. I don't have a problem with TO or Randy Moss in the NFL.

"some things are more important than winning" Hmm? You wouldn't ever want FA on YOUR team? Good thing you don't run Ferrari.

there is no 'one day' i might understand. i simply don't see it like you do. i see him as a piece of the puzzle. a great great driver for sure, but not the one and only reason that Ferrari dominated all those years. So it was "mike" that MADE everything possible? Ferrari won all those championships because it was Mike the magician, and the engineers, the management were just window dressing? so it's HIS team? We'll in that case you must give FA 100% credit for winning his WDC's. Because one year, Mike was such a gift from god that he overcame crappy Bridgestone's and a crappy car and won the race at Indy, spanking the Toyota's!!!! Yes, even the tire rule change couldn't stop the magician that year! Inspite of the new tire regs that year, the FIA still couldn't stop the Ferrari dominance, because "mike" made it all happen for Ferrari..and they won yet another title! Oh, wait, they didn't... you think all those years when "mike" won all the frickin' time were great racing, and post "mike" era is just a sham? ok. whatever. Btw, didn't you say you would no longer support Ferrari if FA was ever signed?

sometimes I'm really surprised at the severity of negativity here on FChat
Some hate Alonso, and post valid reasons for feeling that way,
Same for Massa, Schumacher & even Ferrari.
OK, you have reasons to feel that way, but what do you think the solutions are? Who is a worthy driver?
If we could advise Maranello, what should be done to develop a better car, and who should be donig that?
Then, who should they put into it?
There are a lot of bright & wise folks here who can come up with some great advice, I'll bet!

    1994 to be precise.

    Agreed.

That btw I don't mind as that's a team decision. No problem there. But the fouls on the track are the driver's responsibility. And MS drove dirtier than anybody.
