I am looking at getting a set, but I believe I need spacers correct? Does anyone know the correct spacer measurements to fit my 3.2 cab and where I can procure them?

    thanks

A search on this Mondial forum using the keywords 335 and spacers results in:

If you don't get a definitive answer here try a PM or two to those who have them.

    Hi,

The math should be pretty easy. Find out the offset of the curent Mondial wheels, then the offset of the 355 wheels and that would be your spacer width. A couple MM's either way wont make a huge difference in the overall.

Offset is the difference between the centerline of the wheel and the mounting flange.

I dont' know either your mondial offset or the 355, but I would assume that the 355 wheel has more positive (+) offset than a Mondi (flange is nearer to the outside of the wheel due to a wider track). Anyway, just picking numbers...lets say your OEM mondi wheel is +25mm and a 355 wheel is +45mm, you'd need a 20MM wide spacer to get back to +25.

I'm also assuming the 355 still runs the 5x108mm bolt pattern and it's also worth noting that 5x4.25 bolt pattern is the same as 5x108mm.

Also keep in mind the outer diameter of you cars hub and the inner diameter of the spacer. If not hte same you will need to use a hubcentric ring to fill the gap.

Easy and expensive way to go is a place like Hill Engenering or Ricambia or T Rutlands and they can probably set you up with one phone call and steep invoice. The other way to go is to spend some time and figure the math yourself, internet search for the correct width and bolt pattern spacer/adapter, rings if needed and go from there.

I've got 355 wheels on my Mondi. No spacers needed in the front. 25mm spacers at the rear.

The potential problem area is the rear tire rubbing against the shock. Even with these large spacers, you don't have a lot of clearance.

I can't say which tire(s) will work with this setup. My car's PO installed tires that are too narrow for my rim (about 10-15mm narrower than stock 355 tires) and may have done so to avoid the clearance issue... but this isn't the safest setup as the bead could pop off the rim much more easily.

I don't want to raise doubt either. This setup (w/25 mm spacers) seems to work fine for many Mondi owners. I'd just want to caution against going crazy with rear tire width.

Oops, forgot to answer the "where" question...

I've got Hill Engineering type 2 spacers: the spacers are bolted on to the hub, and the wheels are bolted on to the spacers. You can find them at Ricambi America.
