I sold my 04 6spd 360 and want to purchase another 360 but not many 6spd 04 coupes for sale.So thinking about a Ford GT or Gallardo 6spd instead. The Lambo or GT cost less but which is the better value and have the fewest issues etc.I'll track the car a few times a year and do 5k miles a year.Which is better and why.Thanks.

The Gallardo!!! A very reliable car IMO and fun as anything. I always found the 360 a little sketchy over 100mph, on the otherhand, Audi has made the Lambo stick and squat OVER 100 and is a blast to drive, especially w/ AWD!!! I didn't hit the top end by any means, but had it up to 165ish (tachs are inacurate over ????) and was VERY comfortable... just don't do it around other traffic.
Might I suggest the 05' over the 04' just for the fact you have the option of raising that LOW nose over the speed bumps.

Just out of curiouosity, why would you want another '04 6sp 360 if you just sold one? Personally, I would go with the Gallardo, but to each his own. My brother has had one for over 2 years and loves it. His Gallardo Spider is due within a couple of months. I've driven his coupe a few times here & there and was impressed with it.

If this is a buy today sell tomorrow deal , get the Lambo. As an investment , get the GT 40.

I've got another take on your delima: If your state has sales tax being paid on the purchase price difference, you might have to have that dealer stay involved in the deal. I'd do something different since it looks like you don't stay in the cars long.

You must have had an alignment issue. I was over 150 many times at Thunderhill when I had my 360, and it was beautifully planted at that speed. High speed instability is NOT normal for any 360.

I would still prefer the 360 among these three cars, then the Gallardo (although only the '06), then the Ford.

Given the choice between a 360 CS and a Gallardo....I bought the 360 CS.

To decide, you MUST drive both cars...as looks alone..the Gallardo wins easily. but the test drives made the decision ...and I bought a 360 CS.

A few months ago I would have told you get a C.S. But then I had the chance to drive a Ford GT.

In a word: AMAZING! It was a blast to drive and as fast as any car I've ever driven. And the attention it commands on the road is almost embarrassing -- people of all ages.

The C.S. is still very close if not equal in terms of the fun factor, particularly with the Tubi NGT and the Hyper-flow.

I might still give the nudge to a GT.

I sold the 360 because I didn't have a chance to drive it much. Now I will need to drive 6- 12 hrs. twice a month to check on my office.Plus I sold my 1958 Mercedes cab. This time I plan to keep whatever I buy.I met a guy at the track this weekend (VIR) who has a Ford GT and a 360 spider.Guess what he likes them both and said "I don't sell my cars I keep em all and will let my sons worry about it when I die".H e and I like the exoticness of a Lambo or Ferrari but otherwise the GT is strong.
