    i would be pissed if i somehow was able to a gt and then was told to give the car back for a recall that could take weeks!!!! at least it is winter weather in some parts of the country...ford..Fix Or Repair Daily?....

    it seems like they've only delivered a few hundred cars so far (what's the delay?) so it could be worse.

    "potential", well yes, but they are taking care of it, and not really re-buying up all the GT's out there, like M-B did the A-class some years ago. Each car has their own little recalls and defects similar to this. Heck, there was a Plymouth minivan that had a "tendency" not a "potential" for the steering wheel to come off! Yet, many thousands less was spent on the initial purchase of that minivan. (not mine)
