Got to be a blast. I've seen them at Oshkosh, and wanted to board but ran out of time. You can bet it will be on my calander. Savannah, Jacksonville, and St. Simons would all be good trips and a bonus to a good vacation. Below are some recomendations on resorts/hotels in those areas.

Are you talking a trip from Pt A to B on the Trimotor or just a 20 minute ride around the local area?

I did the local ride thing, paid the extra to sit right seat. It was a neat experience to see what travel was like years ago. It takes off, climbs and cruises at 80 something miles per hour. Ride was a lot smoother than I had expected, not much vibration at all.

I rode in one about 20 years ago that had wicker seats.

    How many are there?

I see that they're in TX and GA on the same day a couple of times.

It looks like there are two, from the web site:

EAA’s immaculate 1929 Ford Tri-Motor and its “sister” Ford Tri-Motor from the Kalamazoo Air Zoo are touring the country and visiting an airport near you. Take this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the magic of flight in the world’s first mass-produced airliner!

I had the good fortune to get into the right seat of Harrah's Ford at the Merced Antique Fly In in 1970 when we flew our old airplane down there. My memories are of vibration, noise, rock-like stability, and handling like flying a hay stack. Ninety at take off, 90 at cruise, 90 on approach...maybe a bit less. Beautiful green leather over wicker seats and a sparse interior...couldn't find any little TV screens, air nozzles, or trays. A really wonderful experience because I used to watch these airplanes flying over our farm in 1933 and operating out of the old Washington Airport where the Pentagon now sits.
