I was recently learning about our fuel delivery systems and came across this video.

the part number is a Mercedes Bosch V30-09-0018 that appears to be an inline filter of some sort. H
ave the mechanical Gurus come across this or is this something that would benefit us if it is to be replaced on the fuel distributor - maybe an obvious question ---- RnR is always yes.... but thought to ask.

'YES' it is found in the 1981 308 GTSi Fuel Distributor (FD) body.

It looks merely like a coupler but is obviously not. It is part of one of the large fuel connections on the front of the FD.

Do not have the FD Part # handy at the moment.

    Sorry.

You can find these filter/couplers DIRT CHEAP these days ... about $3-5 each.

There is a filter in your gas tank too, BTW.
