Last week the Italian drove a Honda RA107 around Jerez, and while he was there he took his wife for a ride in a Civic road car. To say she proved to be a bad passenger is an understatement, and despite Patreses smooth (but fast) progress, went completely nuts, screaming at her husband and making some rude Italian hand gestures in an attempt to slowhim down. What she didnt know and Riccardo had forgotten was that there was a camera in the corner of the dashboard recording the whole thing... The DVD was played in the Honda motorhome on Friday evening, much to the amusement of team members such as CEO Nick Fry, while Patrese himself could see the funny side too... In the beginning she's both cursing and laughing, telling him that he doesn't know the circuit, that he's not driving an F1 car, and that its not an F1 test, then she got really pissed and scared by the mighty Honda Type R...good stuff....Riccardo looked bored...
I'm suprised no one commented on how hot his wife is! LOL. I find her really hot but then again I have a thing for older women.
What makes you say that? Professional drivers don't look all aggressive with their inputs when they're pushing hard. That's more of a novice habit, yanking at everything and letting the red mist really get to you. If you listen, you can hear him getting on the rumble strips pretty hard, and the high revs. He was obviously driving the car quickly.
Candid Camera lives. Just can't keep those drivers off the kerbs, though. (You can watch her hair sway to get an idea of the lateral Gs.)

What a great video -- nice to see the "real" side of a former F1 pilot. I love the look on Patrese's face when she really starts screaming. And at the end, they both see the humor in it.
I think she knew the camera was there. Still very funny. I love where she does the Italian arm shove thing.
BTW, I also LOVED the interaction with the Brit (you're going too fast), the Pit Marshall (you must not go out until I tell you to go out), and Patrese (Yes, yes, I'll slow down... and ...I only do what they tell me. They're in charge!) in the beginning. It's like watching an Italian Opera! CW
