    Easy to win when your cheating is sanctioned by the regulatory body, it’s no surprise the FIA support vehicles are all Mercedes..... what does Todt drive to official functions? - Mercedes. Hmm, doesn’t take much joining the dots does it

    Great session for the last hurrah. Still close between Ferrari and Merc. Ham is on another planet this year, haven't seen him blaze the field like this for years.

    This seems like an anti-climax. I'm really not pumped for this race at all. Nice to se Ricci up so high after all his troubles, and then there's Leclerc; nice he's in the top ten.

    Formula 1 has used exclusively Mercedes course cars for 21 years now. Mosely drove and was driven in Mercs just like Todt after him. Don't think there's any dots to connect.

    Agreed, just looking forward to this season being over. One of my least favorite tracks anyway. Hope next year is beeter, sick of the hybrid turbo formula...

    Riccardo Paletti was killed in a very similar accident when he hit the back of Didier Pironi's Ferrari at the Canadian GP in 1982. Just a few weeks after Gilles died.

    LH with a banker lap. Im amazed. Maybe Ferrari have some pace for the race. Not the worst qualy of the season. Tires will matter......

    Thanks God no casualty in this incident.

    The teams have been struggling all year long with faulty clutches in F2, and it lloks like a design fault.

    It's a specs series, and the teams are not allowed to seek for a solution themselves, and there has been plenty of cars stalling during the starts .

    The problem has not been completely eradicated, but one wonders why the FIA didn't adopt a rolling start procedure until the problem is fixed.

    It's really bordering on criminal negligence ...

    For someone who claims to have me on ignore, you always like to try to comment on my posts.... shame you haven’t offered any other explanation for how Mercedes get away with using wheels even they are unsure are legal, while ferrari get every innovation banned within a few minutes of it being spotted on a car... you must be in awe of me, it’s the only plausible explanation....

    LOL - With fresh car parts, Gasly then had his qualifying effectively wrecked when his Honda engine dropped a cylinder coming out of the penultimate corner on his final flying lap of Q1.
