I think and hope Merc compromised the reliability of their cars by being marginal on cooling. Everyone keeps marveling at how tight their sidepods are and how small their cooling exit area is but they may be paying a price for this. Overheating on both cars at Oz and now this. Hopefully this will add a bit of uncertainty in the results or they'll have to give in and increase cooling thereby losing performance.
Unfortunately like last year, they will work out where they are weaker, and ferrari have gained, and petition for ferrari to have parts banned/removed, and a good start will become another wasted opportunity. At race two, we already hear that they have demanded the tyre compounds that work for 9 teams be changed for the 1 that they don’t work so well for, rather than do what everyone else does and suck it up, change set up and chose harder tyres or an extra pit stop, the obvious solutions! Well, this says a lot about what beauty means to you.... What about these chronologically ordered Ferrari F1 cars from 1950, 1960, 1970, 1980, 1990, 2000, 2010? Since you talk about "in many years".... I hope Kimi can qualify well and then drive hard and fast all race long (not usually the case) and earn the right to win a race.

Image Unavailable, Please Login From yesterday. Last race in Melbourne they told Kimi to keep his pace as all was fine, only to then come on the radio a few laps later saying he needed to drive faster, they didn't bother updating his target lap time. It's no surprise Ferrari backs Vettel, but I hate these underhanded tactics. Nothing new from them, however.
Seb's barge-board assembly is now being replaced behind a wall of Ferrari mechanics who are stopping the cameras and pitlane reporters from seeing the inner workings of the car. The UK's channel 4 crew are complaining about how the Ferrari mechanics block them out, including "bumping and shoving them out of the way" . My thinking is: It's obvious that there are parts of the car Ferrari do not want revealed to their rivals and the World, and you're trying to shove your cameras right into action to show those details, so what do expect?
Lewis Hamilton with a seriously untidy lap! - The car is just not with him at all, and he's trying to over-drive it. With a 5 place grid penalty, the last thing he needs is a car that's not working properly.
Seb's car has another problem - His FP3 session has now ended and the mechanics are working around the sidepods! Fingers crossed it's nothing too serious!
