LeClerc defending against Alonso......nice!!!
Is this the first time that the hard-compound tires have been in play this year? Does anyone think that they'll actually be used in the race?
With apologies to our British cousins, burn baby burn! Fry those Benz tires! Hope it's Texas hot down on the track this weekend! Forza Ferrari!! T
That's how close he came to losing the last race! That's why you have to push from behind the entire race == make the guy ahead fail.
I know it's early days....but Ferrari look good so far with the hotter than expected track (not expected recently but traditionally). If Ferrari can win here (or stay very close to Mercedes), that's a massive step in the right direction for the championship, as this is a race they really shouldn't win. No spec tyres, their car shouldn't work here as well even on normal tyres....game on.
Track temp up to 25C at 8am ...UK time. It's gonna be another hot one for FP3 and Quali.. Last night on the track they added bumpers (don't know what turn......CLUB????) because drivers were exceeding track limits. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Is that the corner a few drivers were taking an imaginary line one? Ie cutting! Yup going to be a hot one here in the UK again today. Wonder if that will make the track bumpier? Guess they had the local gypos in to re tarmac. Seriously, though do they not laser scan or similar the track to ensure its "smoothness"
